Feed Co-op 11% Sweet Horse Feed Coarse at a rate of 0.50% to 1.00% of body weight per horse per day depending upon body condition and level of activity. Offer one half of the daily feed in the morning and the other half in the evening. Good-quality forage (fresh or stored) should be available free-choice. If horses are not accustomed to feed grains, begin feeding at 0.25% of body weight daily slowly increasing over 10 to 14 days to the previously recommended levels. Keep clean, fresh water available at all times except immediately following exercise. After exercise, allow horses to cool down completely before allowing access to free-choice water.
