The Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP) was established in 2005 to provide cost share dollars to agricultural producers. Its purpose is to support long-term investments in Tennessee farms and communities. By participating in TAEP, producers can maximize farm profits, adapt to changing market situations, improve operation safety, increase farm efficiency, and make a positive economic impact in their communities.
Since its inception in 2005, TAEP has invested over $246 million in 80,860 producer projects. This significant investment has had a multiplier effect, generating $6.55 in local economies for every TAEP dollar spent.
