Co-op All Natural Chick Starter/Grower is a non-medicated, 19% crumble for starting and growing young chicks. This ration is a blend of wholesome ingredients, formulated to meet the nutritional demands of growth. It is fully fortified with quality protein and guaranteed levels of key amino acids to support growth and muscle development. Features include: Balanced vitamin and mineral fortification, including organic and trace minerals, for strong bones. Added antioxidants to support overall health and immune function. Highly palatable formula in crumble form for ease of consumption. Nutri-Natural® formulation contains no animal protein, animal fat, or medication. Feed continuously as sole ration to pullet chicks from day one until 20 weeks of age, or when first egg is seen, whichever occurs first. Layers should then be fed Co-op Natural Layer. Be sure that chicks have access to grit. Otherwise, provide a Hardshell Calcium Supplement (Item #1300) to chicks being reared on wire-bottom cages or other artificial surfaces.
