The state fair is only a handful of weeks away, which is why now is the time to purchase tickets to attend the annual Tennessee 4-H Picnic.

This year’s event happens Aug. 15 at the state fairgrounds in Lebanon at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center. The picnic begins at 3 p.m.

Food and entertainment are included in the ticket price, with individual tickets starting at $50.
