A Note from Bart Krisle, Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Chief Executive Officer

Jul 01, 2019

Welcome to the new Co-op website!

This website, along with Co-op content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube ensures you have many opportunities to connect with us from your phone, tablet, or computer. We want to be sure to offer you the opportunity to stay in touch with Co-op in whatever way is most convenient for you.

Please take a moment to see what the site offers. We hope you will immediately notice the sleek, modern design and its emphasis on easy navigation. Product areas are organized by category — Agronomy, Livestock, and Rural Lifestyle.

You will notice lots of news on the site. We plan to update content on the page often to keep you aware of what’s happening in the Co-op world. You will also find posts from Tennessee Farmers Co-op about activities and programs that benefit the entire system. We will offer product-specific posts to provide up-to-date information and news as well. Look for those on the home page and product pages.  You’ll find the latest information on markets, commodities, and weather, too.

A digital version of The Cooperator is prominently displayed on the site. You can access your favorite features of the publication here, from Featured Products to the popular Recipes section, along with all the other Co-op and agricultural news and stories. The most recent issue will automatically appear in this feed.

This page is also a gateway to your local Co-op. The Locations tab will take you to a map where you’ll be able to find basic information about your local Co-op. If your Co-op has a page of its own — and many do — you will find a link to it here.

After you’ve explored the new site, I invite you to drop us a note at the Contact Us button below. Let us know how you like the site, and offer any improvements or suggestions you might have. If you’d like to share your email address with us, we will add you to our contacts list for future updates and promotions.

Thank you for dropping by, and thank you for supporting Co-op!

We want to extend a big welcome to our newest team member, Dr. Josh Zeltwanger, ProTrition’s ruminant nutritionist, who will be assuming Todd Steen’s responsibilities, who retired in April 2025. A native of Francesville, Indiana, Josh grew up on a farm with a small cow-calf operation, where he gained firsthand experience working with livestock. From a young age, he was heavily involved in 4-H livestock projects, further developing his skills and knowledge in animal care and nutrition.

The April Round N’ Raise campaign was a tremendous success, raising a total of $37,830.35 to support local 4-H clubs and FFA chapters through the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Foundation. This program allows Co-op customers and members to round their purchases up to the nearest dollar during the month of April, directly benefiting local 4-H clubs and FFA chapters. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the participating Co-ops and customers whose generosity and enthusiasm made this possible. Together, our Co-op community is building a brighter future.
