SUMMARY:
Co-op Farm Hardware & TBA was established in 2025 and focuses on sales, marketing, customer service, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution for farm supplies at TFC, AFC, and Faithway Feeds. Faithway Feeds is looking for a Class A CDL Driver to join their team in Guntersville, AL, who is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of merchandise and materials. This role includes loading and unloading products, completing required delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate travel and work logs. Prompt attendance, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety are essential, with occasional overtime and additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver License in good standing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift heavy loads frequently for loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be a safety conscious person
- Must be focused, confident, and observant
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to follow directions and work with little to no supervision
- Customer service and communication skills are a must
- Self-motivation to complete daily tasks and procedures
- General math skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload merchandise
- Precisely finish all paperwork connected with the transportation of merchandise
- Transport products and materials securely to areas where they are needed
- Carry out routine pre and post trip vehicle inspections to ensure they are sound
- Report any instance of mishap or accident to your supervisor or manager immediately
- Maintain a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time and work hours
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Always represent our brand in a professional manner
- Prompt and regular attendance is essential
- Some overtime may be required
- Any other duties as assigned
