SUMMARY:

Co-op Farm Hardware & TBA was established in 2025 and focuses on sales, marketing, customer service, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution for farm supplies at TFC, AFC, and Faithway Feeds. The Office Assistant will support daily warehouse and administrative operations by scanning, organizing, and maintaining digital and physical records. This role ensures accurate paperwork flow, manages incoming mail, and provides backup support for key office functions. Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable communication are essential.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma 
  • Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Dependable and trustworthy with confidential information. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Scan warehouse and office paperwork into a digital filing system. 
  • Review previously scanned paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness; make necessary corrections as needed. 
  • Cover duties related to scanning and depositing checks during staff absences. 
  • Retrieve mail daily from the PO Box and distribute it to the appropriate departments. 
  • Print and organize warehouse load paperwork for the following day’s operations. 
  • Learn and assist with selected responsibilities from other administrative roles to provide backup support when team members are out. 
  • Scan, file, and record PTO (Paid Time Off) forms while maintaining updates on the PTO calendar. 
  • Assist with inventory counting and maintaining accurate records as needed. 
  • Perform additional office or clerical tasks as assigned to support overall office efficiency and teamwork.
