Feed 6 lb per 1000 lb of body weight per day up to 8 lb per head per day with medium to low energy non-legume forages during the final 14 to 20 days prior to calving. Do not exceed 0.30 ppm supplemental selenium in the total ration. Always supply plenty of clean, fresh water. Offer no free-choice mineral or salt during this period.
