A message to our member-owners, customers and neighbors:

The COVID-19 situation continues to change quickly. We assure you that Co-op is closely monitoring the situation and will communicate developments as needed to keep you updated.
We are grateful that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recognized the important role that we play in our communities on Friday, March 20 when they announced that agriculture was deemed to be an essential service. Co-op is an integral partner in this important role and considered an essential business as part of this announcement. We also recognize our customers have need of essential products we offer like pet food and other day-to-day household supplies.
We want to assure you that Co-ops are open and ready to serve you. Many communities across Tennessee have issued Safer at Home orders, and we support these efforts to minimize the spread of the virus. These directives, however, all recognize that folks have needs that must be met, and the public is free to access these essential businesses as outlined in the orders.
To better serve you, many Co-ops are making adjustments to their business. Many Co-ops have decided to accept orders by phone and offer curbside pickup. Others are making special deliveries when needed to concerned customers. You may want to contact your local Co-op directly if you have specific questions about these changes.
If you do go in the Co-op stores, be sure to follow recommended CDC guidelines such as social distancing — maintaining a 6-ft space between fellow shoppers and Co-op employees. You will notice enhanced cleaning and sanitation efforts in place at each store. Employees are following CDC guidelines for sanitizing and hand washing, and being advised to stay home if they are ill. Likewise, if you are sick, please follow the guidelines and stay home. These practices are good for all of us.
We understand you are naturally concerned during this unusual time. And we want to stress that we are doing all we can for our customers, our employees, and communities.

We appreciate your business and your loyalty.
Rest assured we will get through this. We are promoting that we all be responsible at home, at work, and in our communities.
We are all in this together.
