A message to our member-owners, customers and neighbors:
UPDATE AS OF JULY 13, 2020
The COVID-19 situation is ongoing and continues to develop. The experts early on said that they hoped the virus might be deterred by warmer weather, but with summer in full swing and the number of cases still rising, that seems to not be the case.
We recognize the vital role Co-op plays in the operations of our farmers, our customers, and our communities, and we’re pleased to continue to do our part as an essential business. Agriculture is vital to our society, and we recognize our critical role, so we have to be open for business.
We also value the health and well being of our customers, our employees, and our communities. To protect everyone and to mitigate the spread of the disease, we continue to follow CDC guidelines. We are encouraging our employees and customers to follow good hygiene practices and practice social distancing. We encourage everyone to wear a mask, when social distancing is difficult or not practical. And we are continuing to practice enhanced cleaning procedures in our facilities.
For now, visitors to TFC facilities are restricted to essential business only. We are allowing meetings, but participants must follow social distancing guidelines. We encourage everyone to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible. Employees are allowed to travel as needed, but we stress they should be responsible and practice social distancing and wear a mask as needed.
Workers are LaVergne will be working from home as much as possible for the foreseeable future. We will still provide you the top-notch service you have come to expect.
Co-op remains committed to doing all it can to protect the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and our communities. We ask that you do your part as well.
