QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to two years' relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and methods
  • Ability to handle high volume, sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Must be able to secure confidential information, both verbal and written
  • Possesses a strong sense of punctuality, reliability and responsibility, without excuses or drama

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answers calls from the customer service line and assists customers, member employees, or TFC employees
  • Provides any supporting paperwork requested by customers
  • Totals accounts using computer and ten-key adding machine
  • Interprets and analyzes data to make decisions pertaining to accounts receivable
  • Reviews client statements for accuracy, researches misapplied payments, and makes corrections when necessary
  • Runs and settles credit card payments
  • Run fuel reports to send to specific Member Co-ops
  • Provides exceptional customer service and communicates with exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Handles multiple projects and meets project deadlines
  • Other duties as required
