QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School / GED Diploma
- Fork Lift Certification is preferred but not required
- Ability to work within a team setting
- Must be able to lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Ensures quality control procedures are followed
- Delivers materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or delivers orders to packing station or shipping department with accuracy
- Safely operates a forklift of similar equipment to complete job requirements
- Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to customers
