QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School / GED Diploma 
  • Fork Lift Certification is preferred but not required 
  • Ability to work within a team setting 
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed 
  • Ensures quality control procedures are followed 
  • Delivers materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas 
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code 
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or delivers orders to packing station or shipping department with accuracy 
  • Safely operates a forklift of similar equipment to complete job requirements 
  • Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to customers
