SUMMARY:

Montgomery Farmers Cooperative stands as a testament to decades of agricultural commitment and community service by offering a diverse range of services aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting rural lifestyles. As part of their service offerings, trained technicians help fulfill automotive care needs to ensure families are safe on the roads. They offer a complete menu of services, including oil changes, battery checks and replacements, brake repairs, suspension work, and steering repairs. Their auto care center, located in Clarksville, TN, is open to anyone and everyone, not just local farmers. They are looking for a master technician who is self-motivated and customer service-oriented to join their team! The ideal candidate should require little on-the-job training, have relevant mechanical experience, and should be a certified A or B mechanic.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School / GED Diploma
  • Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs
  • Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment
  • Excellence in customer service skills
  • Ability to work within a team setting, work independently, and stay self-motivated

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assesses vehicles to accurately diagnose and repair issues
  • Performs basic automotive care, including changing oil, alignment and rotating tires, brake pad replacement, AC checks, and other general maintenance (Montgomery Farmers Co-op does not perform transmission work)
  • Communicates with clients to determine their automotive requirements and vehicle defects or problems
  • Provides routine inspections of vehicles and informs clients of any issues
  • Prepares quotes and work estimates as requested
  • Keeps an accurate record of all work performed
  • Maintains and cleans garage equipment and tools to ensure safety
  • Adheres to company and state work safety policies and regulations
  • Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to the patrons of Montgomery Farmers Co-op

SHOP HOURS OF OPERATION:

  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 - 5:00
  • Saturday: 7:00 - 12:00
  • Sunday: Closed.
