Co-op 15% Pelleted High Stress Beef Starter A+B is formulated for starting weaned beef cattle on feed and pasture up to 800 lbs. The active drug ingredient, chlortetracycline, is a broad spectrum antibiotic with a variety of feeding levels for use in beef cattle, non-lactating dairy cattle, and sheep. The other active drug ingredient, Bovatec®, increases rate of weight gain and feed efficiency and provides effective control of coccidiosis. A Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) is required to purchase this feed.

This product contains 500 mg of Chlortetracycline and 22.7 mg of Lasalocid per lb and is designed to provide supplemental protein, energy, vitamins and minerals to freshly weaned or stressed beef calves. Hand feed Co-op 15% Pelleted High Stress Beef Starter-A+B continuously at 2% of body weight per day for not more than 5 days to provide 10 mg of Chlortetracycline per lb of body weight per day and 1 mg of Lasalocid per 2.2 lb of body weight per day with a maximum of 360 mg of Lasalocid per head per day along with high-quality pasture or hay and plenty of clean, fresh water.
