Country stores were once the heart and soul of every community, but they’re getting harder to find these days. This one, Rainey’s Grocery in Jones Mill in Henry County, has been in operation by the same family for nearly 70 years. Joe Taylor Rainey took over the business three years ago from his mother, 96-year-old Bernice, who ran the store for 66 years. — Photo by Allison Morgan
