Tennescenes Photo Gallery
As viewed from an isolated boat dock near Birdsong Marina in Camden, picturesque Kentucky Lake reflects a palette of rich, golden hues during a late January sunset. The largest manmade lake in the eastern United States, the Kentucky Lake was formed in 1944 by the newly constructed Kentucky Dam. Backing up the Tennessee River for 184 miles, the dam creates the lake that stretches south across the western tip of Kentucky and nearly the entire width of Tennessee. — Photo by Sarah Geyer
