QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred 
  • Experience/certifications in Auto-repair and/or maintenance is advantageous 
  • Must enjoy and excel in a team environment 
  • Applicants should have an upbeat, positive outlook 
  • Ability to function well in a physically demanding environment 
  • Ability to stay dedicated and reliable with duties and responsibilities

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Works on vehicles and equipment, performing various duties, including alignments, brakes, oil changes, and other repairs
  • Installs new tires and wheels and performs maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, and needed repairs
  • Applies lubricants to moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal performance
  • Lubricates wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear 
  • Performs engine cleanings to prevent rust formation 
  • Replaces cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required 
  • Thoroughly inspects customers’ vehicles for oil leaks 
  • Follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies and participates in routine employee training/certifications
  • Conducts basic maintenance and cleaning of the work area 
  • Makes recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspection 
  • Assists customers and other co-workers as needed 
  • Responsible for providing helpful, friendly, and responsive customer service to customers
