Meeting the feed and animal health needs of livestock producers and companion animal owners is the charge of the Animal Nutrition Division. The division has been researching, developing, formulating, manufacturing, and distributing quality feed products for the ever-changing marketplace for more than 60 years. Feed manufacturing facilities are located in Jackson, LaVergne, and Rockford (Tenco). In addition, the division buys and resells animal health products, pet food, livestock supplement products, salt, milk replacers, and various feed ingredients. Staff nutritionists, regional feed/animal health specialists, and a staff veterinarian work with member Co-ops and producers to improve livestock production practices across the state.
